# Allow-List
|
|
|
|
A Pi-hole allowlist for domains that break streaming services and other sites when blocked.
|
|
|
|
## Usage
|
|
|
|
Add the raw `allow.txt` URL to Pi-hole as an allowlist subscription (Pi-hole v6):
|
|
|
|
1. Go to **Lists** in the Pi-hole web UI.
|
|
2. Paste the URL below into the address field.
|
|
3. Click **Add allowlist**.
|
|
4. Run `pihole -g` (or **Tools → Update Gravity**) to apply.
|
|
|
|

## Format
|
|
|
|
`allow.txt` has one entry per line:
|
|
|
|
| Entry | Matches |
|
|
| --- | --- |
|
|
| `peacocktv.com` | That exact domain only |
|
|
| `\|\|thepiratebay.org^` | The domain and all of its subdomains (Adblock syntax, Pi-hole v6 only) |
|
|
|
|
Regex entries such as `(\.|^)example\.com$` won't work in this file. Pi-hole treats them as invalid domains and skips them. Add regex entries in the web UI under **Domains → Regex allow** instead.
|
|
|
|
## What's included
|
|

- **Netflix:** `secure.netflix.com`, `ichnaea.netflix.com`, `customerevents.netflix.com`, `api-global.netflix.com`, `assets.nflxext.com`
|
|
- **Peacock:** `peacocktv.com`, `ingest.webcol.sdp.peacocktv.com`, `atom.peacocktv.com`, `imasdk.googleapis.com`, `vi.freewheel.tv`, `mparticle.com`, `identity.mparticle.com`
|
|
- **Microsoft:** `self.events.data.microsoft.com`
|
|
- **Facebook:** `facebook.com` (including subdomains)
|
|
- **Self-hosted:** `beszel.k5bss.com`
|
|
- **Other:** `thepiratebay.org` (including subdomains)
|
